Chart: Impossible to choose non-contiguous range when, editing data range with
use of the Expand button
This is a bug that has been present since Libre Office 3.4 (!).
In an existing sheet, create a chart, then try to edit the data range by selecting it from the sheet.
Try to select 2 non-contiguous columns, ex. column A & C without selecting column B.
Selection is considered finished when mouse button is depressed, even if I keep the 'Ctrl' key pressed, the only way to select non contiguous data is either to enter it by hand or create a newchert from scratch.
For frequent Calc users, this is an extremely frustrating bug since it may require to re-organize an entire spreadsheet or manually enter cell numbers when creating a chart, which is not practical at all.
Therefore I am offering a bounty to KILL this ancient bug!!
My criteria for considering it killed is the following:
-When I keep the “Ctrl” key pressed, data selection should not be considered finished when I am selecting non-contiguous cells. I want to be able to select multiple non-contiguous cells when creating a chart without having to manually type the cells (which is not practical at all if you have data spread out).
Preferably this bug can still be fixed for 6.2. But If it's for 6.3 I won't mind any way.
