Buying a bitcoin online is not as easy as it should here in Brazil.
Can anyone lend me BTC$ 1.00 ? :-)
Ah, forgot to mention:
thats for issue #78 - Implement Bitcoin payment
And here's the payment address!
I'll lend you ⓑ1. There. Observe that there's no easy way for you to tell that I'm the one who sent it! The easiest solution to that is to create a new payment address and give it to each new person who might pay you. Then you'll know which of them actually did pay you.
Great, thanks! I can see it in my wallet already :-)
Actually it's 1.0101101 - is that the amount you transferred? - Just trying to understand how stuff works :-)
I did. “01011010” is binary for 122, which is ASCII for 'z'.
OH, okay :-)
Hey, you should mark this issue as fixed!
For testing purposes, there is testnet and you can get bitcoins there very easily :)
Ah thanks, didn't know that!
If this is handled, as it seems to be, someone should mark this as done, so it stops showing up in open issues lists.
Hey @zooko, look!
I'd like to use FreedomSponsors to pay you back that BTC 1.00 (of course, I'll reimburse you the 3% fee after :-)
That would be a good test drive for the new feature :-)
If, so, then please edit your profile and add your Bitcoin address there. And then mark this as resolved.
I edited my profile and added my Bitcoin address there. Thanks!
You also need to click on “work on this issue”, and then resolve it.
(Can't pay otherwise)
All right @zooko, you have your bitcoin back.
Really, thanks a lot for all your help!
Please keep supporting FreedomSponsors :-)
just to say “keep supporting”..
/ Accepting payments
FreedomSponsors will charge a 3% fee on top of your payment. For offers in US$, Paypal's fees will also apply.
